Inbound Customer Service Agents – Immediate Start!!

We are currently recruiting for a number of Customer Service Agents to work for a Financial Services company. The company is a specialist in their field and have a modern office near Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor, Collections Agent, Customer Accounts Advisor or a Customer Collections Advisor who is looking to build their career with a company that is going places. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of debt recovery and negotiating payment plans via the telephone and applications will be considered from the following sectors: Utilities, Finance, Insurance, B2B, Credit Control & Debt Management Agencies. Candidates with good solid call centre experience will also be considered.

This role is set in an inbound call centre environment and you will need to have high levels of customer service. You will have to be assertive yet empathetic to a customer's situation so suitable payment plans can be arranged which suit both the company and the customer.

Please note the standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week and the rostered hours will be rotating Monday Friday, hours between 7:30am – 2pm & 2pm - 9:00pm with 2x Saturdays a month.

The role is temp to perm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling customer calls with a professional and empathetic manner
  • Working alongside customers who are in financial difficulty, understanding their individual needs and circumstances and resolving any enquiries or disputes.
  • Resolving complaints making sure you are in line with the Financial Conduct Authority requirements and ensuring third party companies are kept up to date.
  • Managing the customers' expectations.
  • Taking ownership for customer problems and ensuring a satisfactory conclusion for both the customer and the business and all parties are notified of the outcome.
  • Showing a high level of verbal and written communication to all involved.
  • Underwriting existing and previous customers (this will be trained)
  • Supporting the field collections team.
  • Ensuring the company's quality standard and expected standards are fully understood.
