We are recruiting for a Technical Project Manager based in Southampton / Hampshire paying circa £55000 to work for a world class manufacturer who are one of the global leaders in their field with significant operations worldwide.

In this role you will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of European Technical Projects and therefore approximately 25% your role will involve travel domestically and within Europe and occasional trips across to the USA.

This role seeks a degree certified manager, a professional with good experience at managing technical or development projects from a background of working within engineering; i.e FMCG or automotive, fast paced manufacturing. Naturally as a well experienced professional you will have good Project Management experience already along with strong project management principles to hand gained from project management courses or other qualifications attained.

With your relevant background within fast paced engineering manufacturing you will be a comfortable presence on the shop floor during projects phases such as equipment implementation. You'll communicate with customers and vendors frequently, manage day to day project resources, ensure the team use relevant templates with regards to design changes and essentially, amongst other accountabilities, be accountable for the performance of your project team and delivering innovative projects excelling expectations.
