Southern Domestic Abuse Service is a leading provider of domestic abuse services in South East Hampshire. Registered charity No. 1146773.

We currently have opportunities within our organisation to work on an exciting new project, with fixed term contracts until 30 June 2020.

Location: SDAS services currently cover East Hampshire, Fareham, Gosport, Havant and Portsmouth. This project will be based in Portsmouth with delivery taking place in Fareham, Gosport, Havant and Portsmouth.

Up2U: Creating Healthy Relationships is an innovative programme developed by Portsmouth City Council for people who use domestically abusive behaviours in their intimate partner relationships. The programme is evidence based and has been developed in consultation with the support of a Quality Assurance Group consisting of representatives from Victim Support Services, Mental Health, Children's Services, Substance Misuse Services and Health. It is based on research and practice successfully used in offender rehabilitation, motivational interviewing and attachment theory.

Co-ordinator - UP2U - Post SDAS26 37 hours per week Salary: £30,000 This is a new role to manage all aspects of SDAS' Up2U Programme; to provide a high-quality and pro-active service to perpetrators of domestic abuse and their partners.

Facilitator - UP2U - Post SDAS27 37 hours per week Salary £24,600 To provide a high-quality and pro-active front-line service to perpetrators of domestic abuse; delivering a pathway of care focusing on change, safety and protection. This will be done through one to one services and group sessions.

Partner Support Worker - UP2U - Post SDAS28 25 hours per week Salary: £16,622 (actual) To provide support, advice and assistance to victims and current partners / ex-partners (where appropriate) of men / women on the Up2U Programme; in order to promote the safety of the non-abusive partner and any children of the family.

Team Support Administrator - UP2U - Post SDAS29 25 hours per week Salary £11,539 (actual) To provide a high quality support service to the Up2U Programme delivery team. This will include administration, taking referrals, contacting clients, uploading information to our secure case management system and meeting the needs of the clients referred to our services.
