This new post will contribute to the delivery of services to support the employment of apprentices at the University.  The postholder will work closely with HR colleagues as well as staff in the new Apprenticeship Department. The role will have a particular focus on the recruitment and employment of new apprentices as well as the provision of Degree Apprenticeship opportunities for existing staff. 

The postholder will have a good understanding of the Government’s apprenticeship reforms as well as experience of working as an administrator in an office environment.  A systematic and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail is required, as well as organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work.  A commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace is essential.
