ICJS is one of the largest Departments of its kind in the UK and has made a significant contribution to the University of Portsmouth’s recent Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework. 

We are seeking to appoint two, Part-Time Hourly Paid (PTHP) Lecturers to support our teaching, as we have members of staff shortly going on sabbatical and also on maternity leave. 

The successful appointments to these posts will be expected to contribute to a teaching programme mainly in the areas of criminology and criminal justice at Level 4.  If successful candidates have knowledge and expertise in areas such as research methods and cybercrime or crime and the media, there may be additional opportunities to teach these topics.
