An opportunity has arisen to work in the Portsmouth Recovery Hub Service in close partnership with QA Hospital Alcohol Specialist Nurse Service (ASNS).

The post will focus on working with alcohol related hospital admissions, supporting alcohol detoxes, recovery planning and linking with wider community interventions and services.

The person will work alongside the ASNS team and Portsmouth Community Recovery Services to improve outcomes for people admitted to hospital with alcohol related conditions. Applicants will be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team, have a good background of working with people with substance misuse issues (at least 6 months experience), be aware of the issues that this client group presents and have a good knowledge of interventions and agencies that support this client group.
