We are working with a large, top 60 accountancy firm on the recruitment of an experienced bookkeeper for their Southampton office. This is a firm that has a low staff turnover, work variety and can offer good career progression.

The Southampton office is conveniently located just off of the A27 and has plenty of parking for all of the staff.

About You

• 2+ years experience within practice or a finance environment
• Looking to join a join a large regional firm
• Range of general bookkeeping skills
• Experience preparing VAT returns, bank reconciliations and CIS returns
• Some knowledge of computerised accounting software is beneficial
• Good understanding of Sage and QuickBooks is essential
• Strong client relationship skills
• Confident using Xero
• Positive attitude when working within a team
• First class presentation and communication skills
