KINGSHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL, CHICHESTER

23.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

An opportunity has arisen to strengthen our team of Teaching Assistants.  Working closely with the Class Teacher you will support the development of pupils' teaching and learning and their physical and mental wellbeing. 

Supporting a wide range of learning activities, you will work with the Class Teacher to ensure a safe environment, prepare resources, and in developing independent learning and promoting excellent behaviour. This will include supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis.

With level 2 awareness of the National Occupational Standards for Supporting Teaching and Learning, and a general understanding of effective strategies that underpin positive behaviour at primary school level, you will be a good communicator, with the ability to adapt to the audience.  With a positive and flexible approach, and the presence to inspire confidence and trust, we encourage individuals with an enthusiasm to see children progress and develop to apply.
