Lifeguard - NPLQ Qualified

Your Main responsibilities will include:

• Being an exceptional experienced Lifeguard.
• Performs all lifeguard responsibilities including monitoring the pools and activities, applying first aid, and performing water rescues when necessary.
• Help ensure customers are provided with a safe environment at all times and swimmers are well supervised.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer queries are handled and resolved efficiently & professionally.
• Provide and maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
• Follow daily Normal Operational Procedures and be able to action a team into Emergency First aid/ Evacuation procedures when required.

Candidate Requirements:

• You will have a passion for leisure, and experience in dealing with and organising staff.
• Have 2 years lifeguard experience.
• Hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Level 2).
• Hands on First aid experience and current qualification.
• Be fully competent and experienced in Lifesaving aquatic skills and be physically fit
• Passed all GCSE have good English/Maths & IT skills
• Have excellent communication and training skills; be proactive, confident, self-motivated, and extremely reliable.

Receptionist

The Oasis Leisure Facility is looking to recruit a confident, polite, reliable and flexible seasonal Receptionist.

The ideal candidate we be able to work Flexi hours will between 20 - 38 hrs per week, this will include weekends, bank holidays, and over the Christmas period.

The successful candidate

• Have exceptional people skills, be polite and able to plan and deliver the high level of customer service to all our guests.
• A natural ability to deal with guests in a pleasant manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Have good written and spoken communication skills.
• Confident with cash handling, administrative duties, end of day banking, till systems, computers and other office equipment
• Answering phone calls professionally, re directing calls to other departments, handle enquiries and taking messages.
• Maintain a professional decorum in appearance and approach. Keep the reception and the surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times.

Working in our happy holiday parks situated near the beach at Selsey you will be part of a friendly and valued team.

We are looking for reliable people who have some experience of cleaning (be that domestic or commercial).

This could be a great job for anyone looking for either full time or part time work and we also welcome university students who are looking for summer jobs as well as parents needing to fit in around the school run etc.

An average day would involve coming on duty and being allocated tasks for your shift as part of a small team. This could include cleaning our ultra modern toilets, vacuuming our leisure complex and entertainment arcades, mopping floors in our bars and sometimes helping the bar staff by wiping down tables etc. 

60-70% of the work is vacuuming but we do need people who are happy to get their hands dirty when required.

Whilst our teams are hardworking, our head of housekeeping is very fair and ensures that all work is distributed evenly amongst the team - we're a happy group to join.

Hours Available:

• Mornings & Weekends only 6am to 9am

During high season extra hours can be available in which case the finish is later (but no later than midnight).

To be successful in this role you'll need to be reliable, have some experience of cleaning and be able to get to Selsey every day (8 miles south of Chichester).
