Assistant Accountant - Initial 12-month maternity contract - Flexible working options

A rapidly scaling international client based in Slough requires a proactive and career focused Assistant Accountant to join them in their next stage of growth. This is initially intended as a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave within the team, however due to the growth of the company it is highly likely that it will become a permanent role.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this individual will join an organisation that has an impressive and recent history of growth. Having had a significant market impact, the company are approaching a new and exciting phase of expansion, which will also see significant investments being made in their team.

Candidate requirements:

• Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with 1-2 years experience
• OR a recent Accounting/Finance related graduate
• Strong Excel skills - pivots, lookups etc
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to use own initiative and to take responsibility for decisions
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Proactive and motivated to emark on a succesful accounting career
