Reservations Team Leader

Picture yourself as our Reservations Team Leader at The Goodwood Hotel, set in the stunning Sussex countryside.
In this exciting role you'll lead and develop the sociable Reservations team (who love to bake for charity), motivating and inspiring them in order to deliver customer delight. The team play a key role in our customers journey, being the first point of contact for many visitors to Goodwood, providing an excellent opportunity to wow our guests.
Using your hospitality knowledge and diary management skills, you'll be responsible for booking and allocating 91 bedrooms, including over our main headline events, ensuring accuracy and professionalism throughout. You'll handle and convert all reservation enquiries and deliver an outstanding customer journey throughout the process. You'll also be a key part in delivering our budgets and targets for the year.
You'll be a real people person, working closely with the Estate Sales team, Front Desk and the Operational teams, developing strong relationships to ensure all booking details are handed over in a clear and concise manner.
What will you have?
o Knowledge of the hospitality industry
o Experience in call handling and diary management
o Experience in a sales environment
o Experience of leading & developing a team
o Good organisational & administration skills
o Outstanding attention to detail
o Knowledge of Protel or Delphi is desirable but not essential
