An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Consultant Rheumatologist at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. The appointee will join a team working in a busy acute hospital setting and will provide a comprehensive service for the investigation and management of rheumatological disease. There is a responsibility to teach medical students, junior medical staff and health care professionals in the Rheumatology team. Clinics are held both at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre and at some of the local community hospitals. The internationally-renowned Orthopaedic team provides a comprehensive range of emergency, routine and specialist surgery.

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is a first-wave Foundation Trust that serves a population of 360,000 people from NHS Devon, with some specialist services including thoracic surgery serving in excess of 450,000.
